Metamorphosis celebrates the beauty of change. This painting began as a copper paint-splashed drop cloth (which I used to paint Frame Your Day). Wielding my exact-o blade, I cut out wing/petal like shapes and assembled them to appear as if they are dancing in the breeze. If you look carefully, you can also see where I used an engraving dremel to carve into the wood itself to provide even more texture. Change is in our very nature.
